Just come back from staying in malgrat de mar in August 2008.While walking to santa sussana one night myself and my wife stumbled across the drunken duck.
its situated down the side of Burger King,(so its easy to find).
And what a find!! Because its down a side street it gets a very nice breeze all the time, and the outside area is large and mostly in the shade,which is great for the kids as there is no traffic allowed down the street.
The beer is good ,the food is excellent,the staff are friendly, and they have sky sports ,and show any programme you want, just ask!
The owner a geordie i think? speaks fluent spanish so can advise on anything you get stuck with.
They look after the littles with there own play area and provide there own water based drinks for them (instead of sugar filled coke)
If you are going to malgrat visit this friendly pub,you wont go wrong.!!!

IF IT WASNT FOR PHIL,JO,JORDAN AND REST OF THE CREW WE WOULD HAVE STARVED AND LACKED ENTERTAINMENT,WHICH THE DRUNKEN DUCK PROVIDES TEN TIMES OVER!!!!!!WE WAS IN NEARLY EVERY DAY AND WAS GREETED EVERYTIME AND RUN BY A GREAT FAMILY,MANY THANKS FROM ME AND THE GIRLFRIEND WHICH BY THE WAY PHIL WAS THE TANNED ONE ALL THE TIME?SADLY ONLY ONE REGRET THE DAY WE WAS LEAVING WAS WHEN LEEDS LOST TO DONNY AND PHIL WASNT THEIR FOR US TO SAY A BIG THANK YOU WHICH WE BOTH DO NOW AND TO JORDAN AND JO AND EVERYONE ELSE CHEERS AND THANKS AGAIN M8 HI HI :) :)

stumbled onto this pub re a sign on main rd, throughly enjoyed it phil the host @ his son jordan were very nice servise was excellent @ prices fair

howay the geordies ! so pleased we found the pub as i am a geordie myself like Phil the pub owner couldnt of got a warmer welcome. I am sure me and my familly and the party of 72 that came with us will never forget the memorys that Phil,Jo and Jordan give us.Jordan is a top lad and hopefully we wil see the clang from the duck soon

Set opposite the St Jordi hotel The Drunken Duck Pub is a must for any visitor to Santa Sussana. Clean friendly & comfortable best describes this bar. My wife & I visited this place on several occasions & were always impressed by the welcome offered to us. The meals were good & the service was prompt. The prices were in keeping with the rest of the local bars, but we felt the presentation was better than most.
We heard Phil the owner state on several occasions that, this is my house which explains why we felt that we were guests rather than just customers.
Definitly a place we will visit again.
Keep topping the pints up.

great place to go for a quiet pint and the soaps great staff and a great welcoming atmoshire top rate
its a great pub very friendly and welcoming there is always something enteraining happinig even if its only jordon jumping or dancing about like a nutter cant wait to go back as we say its a must

this is such a gd pub, the satff are the best and the food is delicious, its the best oub in santa sussanna and its thre best time i ever had.

This is a very friendly, welcoming bar in Santa Susanna .just behing Burger King off the main promenade. Very clean and nicely decorated.
Phil (the Bradley Walsh lookalike), Joanne, Jordan, Milanya and Lorraine make you feel very much at home with their delicious home made food, music and quiz nights. Everything at very reasonable prices too.
We would always go back to this bar if we were ever in Santa Susanna again.

A pity we found it on the last night,host Phil made us more than welcome,keep the enthusiasm up mate.
