| Surely the most over advertised, over priced, over hyped product of any kind in the world. Why some of the local idiots think it's cool to stand in a nightclub and pay £3.80 a half for this dishwater is beyond me. |

| Me again! After the last mega rant about how truly awful this pseudo-Yank urine is - I've just found out where they brew it in the UK.
This explains everything, especially if you're old enough to remember the TV adverts of the 1970's, and the T-shirts you used to get as a holiday prezzie from someone who had been to Benidorm.
Bad enough being brewed in London, the masters of everything wrong with British beer and brewing (except the honourable mention of the ex-Guinness people at Park Royal), what do you think they used to make at the Stag Brewery in Mortlake?
Watneys.

| OK its completely tasteless + overpriced and if Bud is the 'King of Beers' then i want a beer republic... but i give it 4 out of 10.. why? well (a) it doesn't have a disgusting bad taste (like a can of Carlsberg) in fact it has NO taste (good or bad) and (b) its not so cheaply made that it literally poisons you (like 'UK Stella'). It says alot about some pubs that despite this being utter tripe its sometimes the 'least bad' thing on offer and therefore to avoid slipping into Cooking-Lager hell (Carling, Carslberg, Fosters etc) sometimes Bud is the 'best' of a bad bunch... |
