Cusquena Malta - Beer, Ale - Reviews & Comments

The best beer. Can be enjoyed warm,if needed, but the best fresh from the ice tub. Drank this in the PLAZA CENTRAL of Tarapoto, Peru. Would love to locate some in Arizona. A local restaurant can get cusquena reguler,, but I will wait til I can taste the MALTA again.

This was the only beer I drank while in Peru. I even snuck a couple bottles back with me and after petitioning my loval BevMo store they now carry it as well!

This has now become my favorite beer, it's better than guiness if you can imagine that!

The best beer in Peru, and the best black beer since Negro Leon in the Yucatan. Drank it for weeks. Their pilsner was certainly drinkable but this was downright outstanding. Prices ranged from 2 solis about 60¢ from street tiendas to $3 USD at fancy hotels.
