Double Diamond - The best beer a man can have..
RATING > 9 - by Ken | Type : Ale | Country : United Kingdom | Date > 2004-10-24
Best on Draught. Difficult to find in the states.

Generally reviled as gassy cold beer that passes straight through you and into the urinal

RATING > 3 - by Pat Kingsbury | Date > 2005-05-16
Awful stuff. Has hardly been available in much of the UK for years, and for good reason. Why it's so popular in "English" pubs in the States is anyone's guess. Don't bother.

An outstanding full flavored beer that is no longer available.

Best beer I have ever tasted! Was available only in asian restaurants in NY. Can't find it in any liquor stores. Anyone know where you can get it?

My favorite beer! An excellent well-balanced Burton ale.

RATING > 9 - by The Wife | Date > 2006-01-16
Great beer. We had it in an Indian restaurant in Montreal--on tap though. Hub asked me to bring him some back next trip to Montreal if possible (The Wife is a Canuck) Found it for sale in cans in the Quebec gov't liquor stores (SAQ's) but apparently will soon be sold in supermarkets up there like Loblaws instead. Because I'm a great wife :) I brought him back 24 cans. Pretty funny hauling all that around the airports. Hub is happy :)

Double Diamond is still available? Amazing. Memories of such beers as Watneys Red Barrel and Worthington E also come flooding back. Horrible.

Very good and worth the time and effort to get it. In Canada it is carried in most the Liquor Stores in the 440ml can. Im not sure about how avaliable it is in the united states. A true abby beer.

My first introduction to English beers. I just wish I could find it now! I really enjoyed this beer and would go to great lengths to find it .

A great beer sadly not available in the UK for many years. Brings back fond memories of others of its kind like Worthington E, Trophy, Long Life and Watneys Red Barrel. Lovely, and certainly better than all that real ale muck.

I last saw it in a Hubs bar in Orlando. It was served ice cold in a glass that came out of a freezer! What little flavour there was had been totally wiped out. Barman told me he liked to mix it half and half with Long Life. Get a life more like it!
