I've drank roughly 100 slabs of Dutch throughout my lifetime (carefully worked-out figure) and I'm only 17. Half a slab of Dutch Mould is the best drinking experience in my humble opinion. The Dutch Gold Mans name is Hans Van Der Booer & he has 13 children, the representation of him on the can is one of him lugging a keg of Dutch 'The olde fashion way' before the days of Euro Tunnells & Hss's Hans had to carry each keg from the Ductch Gold factory in a small village in Rural southern Holland all the way to Rotterdam in the Ranstead for shipment to Ireland.
Where he would carry the keg onto the boat and then sit on it and guard it all the way to Dublin Port.
The ferry crossing in those days took 48 hours and his gruelling treck through the Netherlands took 62 hours to complete, so there was rarely a day when he didnt reflect on his dear wife Heidi & his children whom he loved dearly.
Hans is still working for the Dutch Gold Corporation, All be it in a 'consultative semi retirement executive' role where he was involved in many major logistical changes & improvements to the distribution chain - including the purchase of the Dutch Gold Jeep & the two trucks.
Sadly Hans suffers from chronic arthritis in his right arm but he is on record as saying
'Ik zou geen ding veranderen'

Beautiful stuff bu I have had compalints that it is a smelly beer - I couldent care less though its faultless in my eyes.
I have some of the Dutch Gold stationary refered to by a previous Poster - I also Have a big inflatable Dutch Gold can that I actually brought to Corfu on holidays with me for two weeks to be used as a lilo!
All courtesy of my buddy who used to work in an offo in Walkinstown - and she assured me that Dutch was by far the most popular can sold.
Gotta Say though, having drank nothing but Dutch for the past 6+ years (the gargle dims me brain) I've found myself regularly buying Bavaria (same price) recently, finally some competetion for Dutch Gold- still King. but there is a challenger for the crown.

They shud have cans chilled in pubs and clubs 4 people, that wud be a great idea. In fact I'm going out for my 6 for 7 Euro 2nite.
