Estrella is made by Modelo, the same group behind corona. It's only 4% in strength and is a clear beer. Bizarrely you occasionally get a bottle that calls itself CLARA instead of Estrella. It has a light refreshing taste with citrus like clarity on the tongue. This is a beer for hot humid afternoons and evenings. Basically you can drink it all day without waking up with a steaming hangover. I have been told that it is rarely found outside Guadalajara. the beer is stored warm and only chilled when it is to be consumed, if it is refrigerated and reheated it tastes different.
