| Just downed a Monteiths, Becks, Loewenbrau and Coopers...some of the best beers in the world but this one gets a spot on my mantle of fame...Franziskaner Hefe Weissbier. Damn good head and excellent taste. If I compare to Coopers sparkling ale which is a great beer by world standards I found the German stuff tasted nicer on the after taste as it had no metal taste that Coopers has. No beer drinker will be dissapointed with this one. |

| Definitely will have to agree with this one. Franziskaner Hefe Weiss is better than GOOD. Was in Germany for a year and had my share of beer tasting - although some local beers always come close, Hefeweiss will have to be my favourite type of beer, not to mention it's Franziskaner - one of the best breweries in Germany.
Although, the brewery in Sydney called Red Oak (small, but good) also brews Hefeweiss and it's quite a nice one too. |
