Hite - Beer, Lager - Reviews & Comments

Without doubt one of the worst beers in the world. Lack of hop or malt flavour is substituted by strong formaldehyde smell. Hangover begins even before you finish. Avoid the cans in particular.

My fiance had visited Korea in summer 2002. She brought back Hite paraphenalia when she came back. I visited in Dec 2003/Jan 2004 and Hite was the only name I was familiar with. After trying it I found it to be a very smooth beer. Even smoother than the Coors/Molson family in North America. I tried other brands such as Cass And OB. Hite stood out as a superior beer! If you like a full flavoured lager give it a try!
