Marston Pedigree - Real ale to make you stagger
RATING > 9 - by WILLIAM SANDERSON | Type : Ale | Country : United Kingdom | Date > 2004-09-25
Get the 52 bus from Sheffield city centre and get off virtually outside The Ball at Crookes, Marston Pedigree beer is hand pumped and is 4.5og. It is a strong ,well kept, award winning ale.l

RATING > 7 - by Pat Kingsbury | Date > 2005-05-16
Whilst it's definitely an enjoybale beer on a proper hand-pump (you know, those quintessentially English things that you keep yanking up and down to bring the beer through), it's about a "5" if on those horrible "tapstream" set-ups (i.e. if it looks like it's coming from just another lager tap), which is unfortunately the way you'll find it most places down south. In the proper conditions, it's a pleasant, well-balanced bitter with a hint of malt.
