Wonderful beer!! Had this at a resort off on Roatan and loved it. Started with a Port Royal but then tried the Salva Vida and was hooked the rest of the trip. Wish I could find some here in the states!!

Best beer ever! I would go back to Roatan just for the SalvaVida. Blows any lagar out of the water, even Heinekin's. WE've got to get some in the states. If any one knows a place let me know. They would make a fortune exporting it.

Salva Vida is a crappy lager, like budweiser, but is refreshing after a day of diving off Utila Island in Honduras. I was told that you want to wipe the top of the bottle after capping a beer to wipe off the rust, since the bottles will swim for days in tubs of iced salt water.

Great beer, better than most crappy american beers.

During a 2 week stay in Puerto Cortes, Honduras. I found Salva Vida (LifeSaver) Beer. I liked it so much, I snuck a few bottles on the plane when I came home. I still keep one as a reminder that it is a great tasting beer on a hot central american day.

This complex, refreshing lager manages to rise above the rest of the mass produced rabble -a very smooth aftertaste which allows the flavors of the beer to come through is its strengtrh. A a nice surprise and a feather in the cap of its manufacturer

This beer is great, and i'm from canada. everyone knows we love our beer, and i could go for a salva vida anyday. send me a case if you would. id take two if you have em. best beer in central america by far and away, and for you that say it compares to american beer you must have been in some crazy haze when you drank the american beer and thought it was good.

What a great beer! It's fun to read all these comments that take me back. If anyone is located near Chicago you can find Salva Vida in most larger hispanic markets in Uptown and Rodgers Park. They usually also have Port Royal.

Salvavida is by far the best beer I have ever tasted. Can anyone tell me where I can buy it in Chicago or Detroit to cut down on shipping cost. Please give phone number and name of source where I can buy it.

What a great beer. Have been going to Guanaja for years as I have family there. Just got back from a visit and the Salva Vidas were great! Last time I was, you could find Port Royal and Salva Vida, never saw a Port Royal on this last visit. Need to start getting them here, would give the American Beers a good run for thier money!

Spent some time in Honduras while in the Military. I will rank the beers that I drank. Port Royal, Salva Vida, Holtstein and bottoming out the list Nacional. I was young and adventuresome back then. Now at the ripe old age of 35, I have found my life partner beer(Bud Light), and very rarely do I drink anything else. Salva Vida was surprisingly good.
