| When six thirty comes there's just one beer you want in hand after a long day in the bush and that's serengeti. With a mild flavour and nice twang it really gets the taste buds going. |

| While I was in Tanzania Serengeti was released as the latest and finest beer. The adverts said that this beer was so pure that you could not get a hang over.
After we all tested out this theory rigorously it was found to be false, and even the Tanzanian authorities who though not used to world leading standards in consumer rights and marketing standards instructed the adverts be removed.
I used to rate this the highest of the beers except for Tusker Premium from Kenya. But after a particularly bad wet season in 1999 when all the bridges in Kenya were washed away preventing export that was the last we saw that. So Serengeti took over. Though a word of warning this beer is strong. |
