| I went to Portugal in June, as i always drink Stella and Kronengurg i thought i might give the local Beer a try. The first beer i tryed was Super Bock and i thought it was excellent. So i think the rating you have given it at the moment is poor. |

| Good full flavoured beer with a reasonable strength, not as good as Danish beers, as there's IS the best in the world. Visited both Portugal and Denmark several times, and admit our beer in England sucks compared to both these places! |

| Went to Portugal 2 weeks ago Tried Lots of different types of beers and SuperBock was by far the best and at 20 Pence a bottle in the supermarket excelent Value for money Superbock was the one for us . |

| I went to Portugal on holiday this yr. I do not normally drink most lagers because of the chemical alcohol but was very surprised to find a tasty, strong and natural beer in Superbock. Didn't get drunk but didn't realise strength until I saw it on sale in U.K |

| Well i'm a lager drinker at home, started on the super bock lemon when i went to the al garve, this is the stuff of gods!!!! They tend to serve the normal super bock in restaurants, this is quality as well! GO FOR IT, DRINK THE NECTOR |

| Have been going to Oporto every year since 1986 and have always been drinking Super Bock and have grown to like it more as the years pass, after trying various others beers from around the world. This beer must now pass as my favourite, especially as it is now available in the UK.

| Fantastic stuff.
Q: Does anybody know why Britain produces the world's worst lagers? NO other country produces + consumes these awful 'cooking-lagers' (C@rling, UK C@rlsberg, fake 1664 etc.) so why do we have to put up with them? I haven't visited anywhere in the world with lager as bad as the UK... |

| Superbock is one of the best lagers i have ever tasted and i have tried a fair old few, its about time the pubs in the uk got some decent beer in, carlberg, carling,1664, fosters beers like this now brewed in the uk and are crap, in the last year in our local club we broke a habbit of i lifetime and went for a lager called warsteiner which is german so comes under the 400 year old german purity laws so no chemicals at all in this, just good clean, crisp larger, very few drink anything else now in fact the carling has now bitten the dust, so all you pubs out there lets have some decent proper imported beer in fact anything thats not brewed in the uk. |

| My story reads like so many others. Stella has always been my favourite lager, but a business trip to Portugal changed all that. Super Bock has knocked the lady from her throne.
Just to add: If you have a Makro card, then some (but by no means all) branches stock Super Bock in packs of 24x330 bottles and occasionally have it on offer as low as 9.99 + VAT
For a sample (just the odd bottle) you could do a lot worse than dropping into one of the Nando's chain of chicken restaurants. They sell Super Bock along with Sagres, and do some pretty good Piri-Piri chicken too. |

| On a recent trip to Portugal to watch the Mighty Bolton Wanderers play Guimaraes, we were introduced to the sweet taste of Super Bock. It was the best thing about the trip, as the football was crap and we even started a few Super Bock chants...

| On said recent trip to Portugal with Nick (see above) I too tasted the might of The Bock and can safely say it went down a treat. It tasted as sweet as the back to back victories at Old Trafford (2-1 and 1-0 to those who care) and had enough strength to knock out Rahdi Jaidi with one hand tied behind its back. 10 on 10! Button mushrooms! Bingo! |

| Legend! Love Portugal anyway, the fact you can get this for a pittance just tops it off. So good it's even got its own football song - "Super Bock, superstar, gets you more p****d than Stella Artois". Haven't seen the lemon stuff yet, will look out for it next time. |

| I'm American; Costa Rican, Mexican, Peruvian beers all taste the same (like a Budweiser variation) these are much like all the Spanish beers I had in Spain too (hmm historical/colonial explanations). My fav has been Carlsberg since I drank it in Spain, the beer actually seems refreshing almost post-marathonable - Extremely rare in certain states here ex: GA, AL. That all changed when I had a Lowenbrau (german) the other day thats now my #1. Any agree? |

| Got back from Lison yesterday after spending the weekend out there with 9 mates for a stag weekend. Usually i drink kronenbourg back in the UK but obviously had to make do with superbock,...wow what a substitution!!!!! All 10 of us agreed it was a lovely beer, especially the green superbock which was a fantastically refreshing hangover cure!
I'm going to be looking for ithere in the UK although i do not like my chances of finding it! Even beter served chilled in a glass,....cannot believe its 5.6% either! Tastes awesomely good! |

| Superbok Green - What a find!!! Just back from my stag do in lisbon, portugal where we drank nothing but Superbok green. I usually drink Corona with a slice of lime but to find a beer with it pre mixed was a right result. I think that it may now sway me to drink that more often here in England!!
If you've never tired it do so today you'll love it.

| Sperbok is the best portuguese lager i have tasted, it also comes better than Becks which is what i drink over here. Although i have been buying Superbok from ASDA, and am suprised now that they don't sell it, i know Oddbins sells it but would rather have somewhere close by i can buy it from, Does anyone know where i can get it from besides the places i have mentioned?

| Me and some friends went to the great country of Portugal in 2004 to watch the football(thats when we were beaten on penalties) Any way after the game we drowned our sorrows in the square with non other than the mighty super bock, and to our joy the locals were nothing but the best to us. | Just come back from Portugal after a few days. I thought Stella Was the best beer in the world but this Super Boc has surely changed my perceptions. Went to a few bars and on draught this beer tastes excellent. Always cold and crisp very refreshing!!!
All I say is you have to try it to beleive it!! You will not be dissapointed. |

| Tesco sell Superbock. Six bottles for about 3.50 pounds. It is quite clearly and simply the nuts. As normal premium lagers go, Kronenbourg is the best of a bad bunch, but this strong, portuguese lager/beer pisses on all other bottled lagers, Vert strong, yet great tasting. |
