Warka Strong - All girls will love it
RATING > 10 - by Irena Szpotowicz | Type : Lager | Country : Poland | Date > 2005-04-21
Fantastic flavour and aroma, bittery-sweet, very strong about 8% alcohol. Tastes wonderful hot as a GRZANIEC. HOW TO MAKE GRZANIEC: pour the beer into a pot and warm it using a cooker to achieve a nice heat (don't boil it!!!). Add a teaspoon of juce/sugar and some cloves (do it gently to avoid growing of froth). Stir it occasionally. Serve hot in a tall beer glass. IMPORTANT ADVICE: never try to make grzaniec in a microwave - tastes awfully!

A delicious 7% lager, darker in colour and a stronger taste to the normal Warka (5.2%), but just as easy on the pallette. Delicious with cheese on toast.

I recently went on a 3 week trip through Spain, Portugal, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, and Austria. I sampled local beers in every place I visited, and Warka Strong is definitely the best of them all!! Brilliant color and aroma, and a taste that is sweet and bold without being overpowering. GOTTA find out where to get it here in the states.

I just got introduced to Warka Strong beer about 8 months ago. I think it is a very good beer, excellent taste! But...I was drinking 1 yesterday, had 2 sips from the bottle, and noticed there was some kind of rubber washer in the bottom of the bottle. I was not to happy to see that. Does anyone know how I can contact the brewing company to let them know. Thanks, James Sept. 1, 2008

Real Masterpiece of Polish Brewery Tradition. Make sure to chill well, or make it hot as per recipes above/below. Cheese goes exceptionally well with this beer!
